Travis Fouch on harp and vocals ... some Aug. 2010 dates !
- Travis appears with Orland Moses on git and vocals, Nick Big Head Fred Pizzola on drums and DW on bass at the Hideaway in Martinsburg on 8/3 from 8-11 and at the Tap House in Charles Town on 8/5 same line-up and 8-11. These are open blues jams, great audiences, sign up to jam.
Travis and Orland host an unplugged jam at LongShots in C-Town from 5-9 on 8/23.

- Tues. 7/20 the Hideaway in Martinsburg presents Mike Diesel and his Comedy crew 8:00 for an hour of laughs. Blues Jam follows 9-11:30 hosted by the Paul Pfau Trio.
Thurs. 7/22 Tap House open jam in Charles Town 8-11 with the Paul Pfau Trio.
Friday 7/23 Continental Jam in Winchester 8-11 hosted by the Dru Lore Band with a special guest set by Kathleen McGrath and "That's What She Said".
Friday 7/23 unplugged jam at the Tap House 7-10 hosted by Paul Pfau. All acoustic music is welcome.
Sat. 7/24 The Union Jack Pub in Winchester presents the Paul Pfau Trio in concert 9-1.
Sunday 7/25 unplugged jam at LongShots Billiards in Charles Town 5-9 hosted by Paul Pfau and Eddie Gumm (lead singer with Terry Oates and the MudCats).

Tuesday Blues Jam at the new Hideaway Lounge in Martinsburg 8-11, age 21+ hosted this week by Paul Pfau and SmoothCat Burglars with Darryl Brenzel on sax. This is the band that has been selected to open the 11th annual Blues House Festival on 6/19 in Winchester for the benefit of Habitat For Humanity. This fest features some great national and regional blues acts, a Grammy winner headlines, we're proud to be a part of this worthy fund-raising event.
Thursday nite jam at the Tap House in the Shenandoah Lanes in Charles Town hosted by Jimmy Long and Mercy, Mercy with some great jammer guests, maybe even you ?
8-11 and any draft $2.50.
Friday nite is an electric jam at the Continental in Winchester 8-11 hosted by the Paul Pfau Trio.
These nights are very special with some amazing guests on sax, keys, guitar, vocals, drums ... always time for some more.
Friday Sunset Jam unplugged on the patio at the Tap House 7-10. This week hosted by Dan Cronin and Orland Moses ... this is more of an intimate "front porch" jam where fiddles and mandolins and guitars and voices all mix up a variety of musical styles ... not only the blues, but you'll get some.
Saturday 9-12 at the Carriage House in Shepherdstown ... Paul Pfau Trio in concert.
Sunday 5-9 in Charles Town ... LongShots Billiards presents an unplugged jam with your hosts Paul Pfau and Dan Cronin. Enjoy this area's best seafood and more with a great group of musicians jamming in a very casual setting. Hope to see you there.

- So many new developments ... thanks to all of you for supporting our vision. We are adding events and venues at an awesome pace ... because we work together to expand our local live music scene.
The BrickHouse Bar and Grille in Martinsburg has a BG jam nite every other week from 7:30-11. The new Hide-Away Club on Foxcroft Ave. in Martinsburg begins a new Tuesday BluesDay Jam nite on 3/16 from 8-11. The Tap House in Charles Town has a BG jam nite every Thurs. 8-11. Continental After-Hours Jam in Winchester has a packed house once monthly on Fridays 8-11. The Tap House in Charles Town hosts an "un-plugged Jam " nite every Friday starting on 4/16 from 7-10 on the patio. Continental Winchester "unplugged Jams" coming soon. On Saturday nights Paul Pfau can be found in some very exciting combinations gigging at a venue near you. LongShots Billiards in Charles Town presents a "Best Of BluesGate Jam ShowCase every Sunday from 5-9. - BG has terminated our music and jam series at Zodiac Bar and Grill effective immediately. If you are looking for music at the Zodiac, you may want to check with them first. If you have interest in performing there ... you may want to msg. me first for more info. Peace !

- Just posted the complete dates for jams and shows in 2/2010 with Host Band details. The Super Bowl Super Jam on 2/7 will start early 2-6 with the game on the big screens right after the jam. The BluesGate is sponsoring a Valentine's Week-end Jam Series every nite from 2/12 to 2/14 with music and special menus.We're happy to announce that BluesGate has 18 events booked for February. Host bands include a total of 15 great local musicians, check it out !
We are now working with Dancing Beagle Productions for house parties and a special appearance at 2010's Valley EarthFest in April. The BrickHouse in Martinsburg, WV is our newest regular venue for Blue Monday jam nites, every other week, starting 2/15. Many cool opportunities to participate and enjoy live local musicians in a very friendly atmosphere making spontaneous music together.

SmoothCat Burglars playing a pretty full schedule as well. Jimmy Long and BigHead Fred putting "Mercy Mercy" back together and auditioning bassists. New bands as well as your old favorites in the rotation for jam host slots. BG now seeking a venue in Frederick, Md. for a monthly jam nite. Check the calendar for our return to the Continental for our monthly jam nite in Winchester, Va.
