Fun in February 2010 ... spread the word !
- Just posted the complete dates for jams and shows in 2/2010 with Host Band details. The Super Bowl Super Jam on 2/7 will start early 2-6 with the game on the big screens right after the jam. The BluesGate is sponsoring a Valentine's Week-end Jam Series every nite from 2/12 to 2/14 with music and special menus.We're happy to announce that BluesGate has 18 events booked for February. Host bands include a total of 15 great local musicians, check it out !
We are now working with Dancing Beagle Productions for house parties and a special appearance at 2010's Valley EarthFest in April. The BrickHouse in Martinsburg, WV is our newest regular venue for Blue Monday jam nites, every other week, starting 2/15. Many cool opportunities to participate and enjoy live local musicians in a very friendly atmosphere making spontaneous music together.

- Going strong with 3 jam nites per week plus Gigs and Jam Showcases most Saturdays. BG studio sessions in progress for Paul Pfau Trio and 3rd Gear Boogie bands. SmoothCat Burglars playing a pretty full schedule as well. Jimmy Long and BigHead Fred putting "Mercy Mercy" back together and auditioning bassists. New bands as well as your old favorites in the rotation for jam host slots. BG now seeking a venue in Frederick, Md. for a monthly jam nite. Check the calendar for our return to the Continental for our monthly jam nite in Winchester, Va.
